Manchester United 1 – 1 Leicester City: Old Trafford Side Make The Foxes Wait (01.05.2016)

Manchester United have held Leicester City to a 1-1 draw spoiling what would have been the crowning of the new Premier League champions at Old Trafford on Sunday. Both teams shared the spoils after Wes Morgan’s powerful header cancelled out Anthony Martial’s early strike.

Claudio Ranieri’s men played like they always knew they wouldn’t be defeated by this Manchester United side despite enduring a nervy final five minutes after Danny Drinkwater was sent off for hauling down Memphis Depay on the very edge of the penalty area. The Foxes will have to hope Chelsea do a good job on Tottenham and claim all three points.
