Police say a 16-year-old shot his father at a home on Massey-Tompkins Road near Trailwood in Baytown, Texas. It’s understood the teen was trying to break up a fight between his parents.

According to reports, the father allegedly began attacking his 16-year-old son when he tried to intervene but was shot in the arm and stomach.
The father’s condition is unknown.
