Latest News In US: 18-Year-Old Woman Wanted For Attempted Second Degree Murder Comments On Her Own ‘Ugly’ Mugshot
An 18-year-old identified as Precious Landry, who was wanted for attempted second degree murder, has complained about her ‘ugly’ mugshot on Facebook before handing herself over to the police.
The St. Martin Parish released Landry’s photo on June 12, explaining she was wanted for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder in relation to an incident which occurred in True Friend Hall in Parks, Louisiana.
In the mugshot, the suspect had her hair tied back. She also wore glasses and a purple jacket. The 18-year-old clearly wasn’t impressed with her mugshot even though mugshots are not necessarily flattering. She commented on the post saying ‘that picture ugly’.
St. Martin Parish responded to Landry’s comment, writing, “Precious Landry you are always welcome to head over to the Sheriff’s Office and take a new picture if you want!
Or you can just wait to take it when someone turns you in to collect on the $1,000 reward!”
Landry didn’t appear impressed with the threat of being turned in and neither was she moved by the promise of a new photo. So, she hit back encouraging the authorities to find her themselves. She replied ‘no do y’all job’ and joked about already having other mugshots.
Meanwhile, Crime Stoppers added an update to their post, reading, “Precious Landry turned herself into law enforcement this afternoon. Thanks for all your tips and information.”
Landry was booked at the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center and is listed as still being in custody as of July 14. However, it’s unclear if she got a new mugshot.
