A lot of people appear happy to forget all about 2020 and look forward to this New Year.
Last year was generally an all round disaster as robbers/bandits and Boko Haram continued to terrorize Nigerians.
Also, the COVID-19 pandemic took so many lives worldwide bring pain, sorrow and hardship into many homes.
Nigerian youths also gathered the courage to take to the streets in peaceful protests against police brutality, oppression and bad governance in the country. Despite it being peaceful, there were reports that innocent #EndSARS protesters were gunned down by men in uniform. Blood-soaked Nigerian flags began to circulate rapidly across social media.
Hoodlums also hijacked the peaceful protests to begin looting shops and impoverishing Nigerians the more.
Despite all these, Ebele Okaro remains optimistic. The Nollywood actress thinks there will be abundance this year as she clearly stated in an Instagram post. In fact, she even shared a photo of herself carrying a basket of greens on her head.
She captioned;
“2021 is Green and fruitful…Welcome to the new year of Grace, Health and Abundance”.
