Miracle Edegwu: 8-Year-Old Maid Has Been Beaten To Death By Her Madam In Isolo, Lagos
Things are really happening ooh! An 8-year-old maid has been beaten to death by her madam in Isolo, Lagos. It’s understood the suspect, Oby, who is a mother-of-two and pregnant with her third, was in the habit of maltreating victim who has been identified as Miracle Edegwu, alongside another househelp living with her.
Neighbour’s of the suspect have also revealed how Oby ‘usually beats and overworks’ the deceased, Miracle Edegwu, and her colleague. She also withdrew both girls from school after she brought them to Lagos from Anambra state. Before the suspect killed Miracle, neighbours confronted her regarding the way she maltreats the girls but she turned deaf ears warning them to mind their business.
It’s gathered that early Saturday morning, Oby unleashed another round of attack on Miracle Edegwu but this time, the 8-year-old could not survive the physical abuse and died. While trying to dispose of the victim’s body alongside some people contacted for the job, they were nabbed by neighbours who dragged the matter to the Isolo Police Division where the suspect was detained.
Miracle Edegwu’s body has been deposited at the Isolo General Hospital.
