Nabbed: 6 Nigerians Arrested Over Kidnap And Rape Of Facebook Friend In Ghana
Chimaroke, Ike Amechi, Anthony Emmanuel, Godfred Alex, Kayode Ayodele and Opious Owner, are the 6 Nigerians arrested over kidnap and rape of Facebook friend in Ghana.
It’s understood they have been paraded by the Accra Regional Police Commander of Operations for kidnap and rape of a Facebook friend whom the main suspect, Chimaroke, had been interacting with on the social networking site.
Chief Superintendent Kwesi Ofori disclosed that the victim, Ashaley Botwe, 21, visited Chimaraoke at his house near Accra, where he lives with the five accomplices. She was supposed to have been given an Eid-ul Fitr present but Chimaraoke instead asked her to sleep with him. It’s gathered that Botwe declined his offer.
“Chimaroke made advances and when she resisted, he smashed her phone and raped her. Fortunately for her, she had another phone on her, which she used to call her brothers, who later called the police to go and rescue her.”
