Togo International Emmanuel Adebayor Has Adopted His Late Elder Brother’s Son, Changes His Name
Emmanuel Adebayor has adopted his late elder brother’s son after the youngster lost his father in July 2013. He announced this on Instagram and has even changed his name. The former Premier League star who currently plays for Turkish league leaders Istanbul Basaksehir, shared a photo in which they were eating. He wrote:
“SEA, whoever knows me knows my elder brother, Peter Adebayor who is no longer with us. Here is his son and today I declare him as my first son. Let me introduce you to my first son. His name is Junior Emmanuel Adebayor. Blessings…🙏🏾”
Adebayor did not enjoy a good relationship with his brother, Peter Adebayor, while he was alive. The 33-year-old had accused his family members in 2015 of using ‘juju’ on him and trying to grab his fortune. He even admitted being close to committing suicide even as his other brother, Kola, accused him of causing Peter’s death.
