Dancehall Star Shatta Wale Reveals The Meaning Of His Name And How He Got It
Most people were of the belief the dancehall star got his name, ‘Shatta’ after the drama that went down during the 2012 Ghana Music Awards. He had vandalized the venue after Kaakie had beaten him to ‘Dancehall Artiste of the Year’. At that time, Wale was rebranding and so people thought the damage he had done earned him the name ‘Shatta’. However, his name doesn’t mean ‘destroy’. Shatta Wale revealed the true meaning of his name and how he got it in a Facebook post.
