Revealed: Ice Cube Thinks Drake’s Reign At The Top Of The Rap Game Is Ending
O’Shea Jackson, popularly known as Ice Cube, while on the Sana G Morning Show, revealed that Drake’s run at the top of the rap game might be ending. The rap legend stressed the need for the the OVO Sound boss to come to terms with stepping down. He said:
“He had a good run. You’ve only got a three year run in the rap game. You’ve only got three years at the tip top of the rap game before you have to find your place in this thing.”
Ice Cube even admitted on the show that three years was about what he got when he was the greatest in the game. He also said Pusha-T did a lot of damage to Drake with his diss record, “The Story of Adidon.”However, that wasn’t the sole reason behind Drake’s descent. He said:
“I don’t know if that did it. I think your reign becomes over, and I think the audience has determined that.”
Despite Cube thinking Drake ought to bow out now, the Canadian rapper has been topping the charts.
