Hip Hop Entertainment News: Meek Mill Reveals New Project With Jay-Z And Eminem
Since Robert Rihmeek Williams, popularly known as Meek Mill, got released from jail, he’s stepped up his activist game whike trying to build up entrepreneurship. The “Going Bad” rapper recently disclosed that he has a new project with Jay-z and Eminem. He tweeted:
“I’m making power moves wit jay & em #levels”.
Meek has been kicking it with Roc Nation management team roster since 2012. On his part, Jay-Z has been working closely with Meek as he deals with his legal issues. In fact, they have started an organization for criminal justice reform. Things got even tighter when Meek Mill landedvhis first Jay-Z feature on his Championships album in 2018.
On his relationship with Eminem, any collaboration in music or otherwise would be a change of pace, at least to the general public as far as Meek Mill is concerned. It just isn’t as solidified at the moment.
Last month, Meek was honoured with his own weekend by his hometown of Philadelphia.
“I want to thank the people here for the support because the support done mattered a lot,” Meek said while accepting the honor. “I’ve been in prison a few times for probation violation, but the one time that my city of Philadelphia showed me support was the one time I came out of prison, and I want to show the support back and do it for the people that actually stood up for me.”
