Current News Headlines: Woman Escapes Nail Salon Without Paying After Pepper Spraying Owner
What is it with some of our ladies? The other day, two women were accused of stealing more than $300 in merchandise from a store. As one of the ladies was shoplifting, she twerked her way down the aisle. You can read that HERE . This time, two other women escaped a nail salon without paying after pepper spraying the owner of Lynns Nails in Houston.
Minh Nguyen is seen on the establishment’s surveillance video getting sprayed in her eyes. Vickie Thon, the victim’s daughter said:
“I was outraged because my mom, she is such a hardworking woman.”
“She’s gotten robbed before and it just saddens me.”
It’s understood the first woman paid and left but returned later. Thon recalled;
“She peeked in, opened the door and kind of waved to her friend who was getting her nails done by my mom.”
As soon as she did that, the other customer pulled her hands back, suddenly pulled out a can of pepper spray, and then sprayed Minh in the eyes. She then rushed out of the door and both escaped, leaving everyone in the room in shock.
Meanwhile, her family has already filed a police report and are optimistic the unidentified women will be caught.
“I’m very worried that she is still out there. She could be doing this to other shops and other stores,” Thon said.
