Celebrity News And Gossip: Teairra Mari Busted for DWI, Was Allegedly Driving With Only Three Tires
The ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ star has made more of a name for herself due to her legal battle with 50 Cent. Teairra Mari also takes time to troll the rapper whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, in the worst of ways. Well, she’s now worked her way to making headlines by herself. Teairra was busted for DWI. The police busted her early Saturday for allegedly driving drunk and having only three tires on her car.
According to Page Six, which obtained a copy of the criminal complaint, Teairra had “watery eyes, a flushed face, and an odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath.” She was described as “unsteady on her feet,” the complaint said. She reportedly told the police that she “was at a restaurant with friends, I had like three glasses of Pinot Grigio.” However, the criminal complaint says that Mari blew a .304 — more than three times the legal limit — and had an open bottle of Ketel One vodka in the front passenger seat of her red 2014 Dodge Charger.
It’s understood Mari was seen driving through the Queens-Midtown Tunnel “at a high rate of speed” even though she was missing her front right tire. The complaint said the lack of a tire created “sparks” as she drove.
It didn’t end at that. Mari also was said to have told the police she’s a celebrity.
According to Page Six, Mari was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, having an open alcohol container in the vehicle, and driving without a license.
While reacting to news that Teairra Mari had been busted for driving drunk, 50 Cent hilariously said, “Jesus take the wheel” while still reminding the “dirt bag” he “want my money Monday”.
