The dreaded COVID-19 continues to spread with about 4151 confirmed cases in Nigeria although 745 have been discharged. Sadly, 128 deaths have been recorded as at 9th May, 2020, according to the NCDC. The steady increase could be as a result of the easing of the 35-day lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun states following President Muhammadu Buhari’s order. However, this coronavirus period has brought out the ‘true’ character of some people which they sometimes display on social media. Adunni Ade says she’s learnt a lot. The Nigerian actress disclosed this in an Instagram post. She wrote alongside some photos she shared:
“Me and lil Man
If I may ask, what have you learnt during this period?
I’ll share mine, Humans will remain humans. You will get ridiculed, talked about, and what not. Some will get to you, some you’ll smile at but know something, you’ve got what they don’t have. Guess what? It is okay for them to feel that way. Keep rising above it all and watch your Blessings triple.”
