Is there anyone that still doubts that this generation is thirsty for internet validation? In every day living, our behaviour is ruled by what people think of us. When we have lunch say… Pounded yam and Egusi with all the meat stuffed inside, we immediately think of taking a picture of it so we can share on Instagram. We are eager for others to “like” the photo so we feel good.
With this in mind, Wumi Toriola has stated clearly in an Instagram post that those people in search of internet validation, will always end up sad. She’s correct! People allow comments from people (who are living fake lives) they don’t even know, dictate whether they will be happy or not. The Nigerian actress wrote:
“Any one who seek internet validation will always end up being a sad person.Firstly love your self and be happy for others..Happiness is self igniting”
