In her recent Instagram post, Kehinde Bankole admits she’s always loved competition provided it’s “healthy and balanced”. The Nigerian actress states clearly that going against this will be a major disadvantage which could lead to depression. She wrote:
“I have always loved competition.
One vital thing is to keep it healthy and balanced. Never be a sore looser too, unhealthy competition can be to your disadvantage, cause you anxiety, unecesary jealousy and setting unrealistic targets.
Some are even driven to depression from judging their chapter 1 by other people’s chapter 28 and they will say they are not doing well enough. be guided. I am no stranger to competition, from beauty pageants, high school quizzes, co and team projects, to real life statements that has to be made, trust me when I say the person you may be targeting who is making you feel slow is quietly admiring something you have or struggling with building their lives inspite of the glitz and glam you see, especially with how misleading social media can be, be wise, be confident in yourself, be grateful and use any competition to better yourself, re affirm your throne if you’re queen 👑 or king you know 😘 and quietly rate yourself against your competition rather than tearing them down.
If you only see yourself in gratitude you will never compare yourself with others. Be GREATful”
