Bimbo Afolayan is keeping her life on point with some positive quotes including a popular one from Steve Maraboli. The Yoruba movie actress wrote on her Instagram page, “As I look back on my life ,I realize that everytime I thought I was being rejected from something good,I was actually re_directed to something better!”
The actress has had a very busy year which started with her mother being assaulted by her landlord over a security fee. At the time, Bimbo felt she didn’t get justice because he (landlord) was the chairman of landlords in the area. In fact, the thespian was even abused in the comment section of the post she shared. Some of her fans attacked her for putting her mother in harm’s way by not building a house for her. They further pointed towards the Nollywood star living a life of luxury without taking adequate care of her mother.
Also, Bimbo’s good friendship with Regina Chukwu appears to be strained over the latter’s rigorous campaign over her skincare products. It’s understood she had employed all strategies that Bimbo used in marketing her products such as writing short stories on her products and distributing money to followers (giveaways). Let’s not forget to mention putting up selfies.
Despite all the drama, the year has been altered with the dreaded attack of COVID-19 worldwide including in Nigeria.
However, Bimbo Afolayan has risen to the occasion and is still living her life happily with her beloved husband, filmmaker Okiki.
