Cardi B Set To Divorce Offset
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has filed to divorce her husband, Offset (Kiari Cepheus) after three years of marriage. It’s understood the “WAP” hitmaker who secretly married her spouse in September 2017, wants custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. She also requested that Offset, 28, provide child support, according to TMZ.
The gossip site also stated that Cardi expressed in her filing that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation” with Offset as they have been separated for some time.
However, it is not clear as at the time of filing this report if she has requested spousal support from the “Rick Flair Drip” rapper but wants Offset to cover her legal fees.
Documents obtained by Fox News show Cardi is listed as the plaintiff while Offset is the defendant.
If you recall, Cardi shared a cryptic message a few days ago on her Instagram Stories which read “her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time.” She added the caption, “it’s time” with a winking emoji.
