Why Actress Ini Edo Has Been Depressed
Ini Edo is easily one of the most gorgeous you will find in Nollywood. The black beauty who has a flawless chocolate skin, came under heavy criticism for bleaching her skin. However, the movie star defended herself by explaining that her skin tone was changing due to the new cream recommended to her which she has been using for a week.
The actress who has been depressed, shared a video which proved she was speaking the truth. Indeed, her face showed some eczema-like discolouration.
She said: “I’ve been depressed for a couple of days now because of my skin. You all know how much I love my skin and this terrible thing has happened to me. So, COVID happened and I ran out of skincare products and a friend of mine introduced me to this one. This is what I’ve been going through for the past one week. I haven’t used anything on my face for the past one week because I’m trying to let this wear off. I’m just doing this video to let people out there know that they are not alone. One wrong product can damage your skin forever. I’m just praying that brown doesn’t change like coke and fanta.”
Ini Edo had to change from the regular cream she had been using because she lost access to it due to the pandemic and lockdown which affected movements in certain areas.
