Nigerian Rapper Falz Celebrates 30th Birthday – “I Pray For A Much Better Tomorrow”

Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, is a year older today, October 27. The Nigerian rapper is celebrating his 30th birthday a week after the Lekki Toll Gate Shooting. He took to his Instagram page with the message below:

“Mixed feelings. It has been a week since we lost our brave soldiers at the toll gate.

I have also now officially been on this earth for 30 years.

I pray for a much better tomorrow. I pray for a Nigeria that I can truly be proud to call home”.

If you recall, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were allegedly shot dead by men in uniform who were supposed to have been protecting lives and property. Rather, an order was given for the innocent to be shot at which also left the Nigeria flag soaked in blood.
