A lot of people live above their means for so many reasons. There are those who cannot help but indulge in eating out, going on exotic vacations, spending on expensive cars, designer outfits and bags.
The sad part is that they are spending more money than they can actually afford.
Also, people spend extravagantly not because it is mandatory, but to impress others. What they fail to understand is that this usually leads to tears and regret.
It gets worse with the social type – those who go out regularly to weddings, parties, clubs and other places where heavy spending is required – be it in form of drinks or even outfits to match the occasion.
In a recent Instagram post, Queen Nwokoye advised her millions of fans across the world never to be ashamed or embarrassed living within what their pockets can comfortably reach.
The popular Nollywood actress also noted the peace that comes with being content.
The thespian wrote;
“Never,ever be ashamed of living within your means. The peace contentment brings is under rated.”
