There are those who have made criticizing others a part of their everyday living. These self-righteous people feel insecure with themselves and sometimes feel they are the ones being criticized so they go on to counter-attack.
To be fair, their mindset has got them thinking that they are actually helping you by sharing their wisdom or experience with you.
If you closely examine those that are highly critical of others, you will find out that they were criticized in early childhood by their caretakers, siblings or peers when they were vulnerable and at an age when criticism hurts a lot.
Hence, they feel devalued by the behaviour or attitude of others so they become critical of others who have not even hurt them in any way.
In a recent Instagram post, Bukunmi Oluwasina advises her fans to be cautious when it comes to listening to people.
According to the award-winning Nigerian actress, who doubles up as a singer, those people who criticize others do so over things they long for.
She wrote;
“Be careful of who you are listening to. We are in a century where, Most of the things people criticize are some of the things they wish they had.”
