Juliet Ibrahim has taken to her Instagram page to highlight what a modern woman should be. The actress made it clear that she should be independent, empowered and capable of making her own choices in life.
Women these days are celebrated across the world for the progress they are making in their careers. They are achieving greater equality and autonomy.
However, women who do not fit this description are beginning to appear outdated and not progressive.
According to Juliet Ibrahim;
“A modern woman is a woman who is independent, confident, and self-sufficient. She is someone who values her career, education, and personal goals just as much as her family and relationships.
“She is a forward-thinking individual who is not afraid to challenge traditional gender roles and societal expectations. @lifelessonswithjulietibrahim”.
Juliet Ibrahim is a film producer, singer, and humanitarian of Lebanese, Ghanaian and Liberian descent. The award-winning actress is well known for her philanthropic work, particularly in promoting awareness about kidney, cancer.
The thespian has been able to survive uncertainty about her future while growing up. She explained:
“As a child, I grew up and lived in four different countries and due to unfortunate circumstances my family had to relocate thrice. I experienced three civil wars. I witnessed my parents and relatives being harassed right before my eyes. These are moments I still remember vividly and I relive these memories every election or political unrest. I still get traumatized by the mere sound of fireworks. I do not wish this experience upon anyone. So I say to you brothers and sisters that violence is never the answer”.
