Kevin Hart Has Apologized To His Wife Eniko Parrish And His Two Kids — ‘I Gotta Do Better’
Kevin Hart has apologized to his wife Eniko Parrish and his two kids on Instagram for making a “bad error in judgment” and for hurting “the people closest to me.” This was in response to a woman who was trying to extort him over a “sexually suggestive” video in which he featured in.
According to TMZ, “Someone tried to set Kevin up in a failed extortion attempt. As law enforcement is involved, we cannot comment further as it could affect the investigation.”
“I’m at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back. And because of that I should make smart decisions. And recently, I didn’t. You know, I’m not perfect. I’m not going to sit up here and say that I am or claim to be in any way shape or form. And I made a bad error in judgement and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did. And in doing that I know that I’m going to hurt the people closest to me, who’ve I talked to and apologized to, that would be my wife and my kids.
“And I just, you know, it’s a s—-y moment. It’s a s—-y moment when you know you’re wrong and there’s no excuses for your wrong behavior,” Hart continued. “At the end of the day man, I just simply have got to do better. But I’m also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that was what was attempted. I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes.”

The Central Intelligence actor captioned the video with a message about doing “better” for his pregnant wife and his kids from a previous relationship, Hendrix and Haven Hart.
“Sending so many apologies to my wife & kids. I gotta do better and I will,” Hart wrote. “I’m not perfect and have never claimed to be …I love you all.”
However, Kevin Hart did not make any specific wrong doing in the video. Recently, the actor has been the target of cheating allegations. In July, the comedian was seen in a viral paparazzi video that allegedly showed him “canoodling” with an unidentified brunette for about 20 minutes inside a car. It’s understood Hart had also been partying hard with the same woman on his 38th birthday in Miami.
That isn’t the only time Kevin Hart’s relationship with his current wife, Eniko Parrish has come under scrutiny. Eniko had written on Instagram that she had been in a relationship with Kevin for eight years. However, this turned heads as the 38-year-old Hollywood actor and his ex-wife, Torrei Hart, with whom he has two children, got divorced six years ago. In a now deleted post she wrote:
“Their marriage was broken way before I came in the picture.. They were separated, living in separate homes. I was never a secret.”
Torrei then responded:
“Eniko sweetheart normally I don’t feed in to this, but when you addressed me directly, you forced my hand to respond. We have made successful strides to become a loving co parenting family, but you have now left it open for my character to be questioned. You, Kevin, and I know the truth.”
Even though the posts were deleted, Torrei Hart spoke to TMZ. She fired:
“Numbers don’t lie. Dates don’t lie at the end of the day.”
Hart later took to his own Instagram to obliquely address the ordeal.
“Going to be honest with you people, I’m at a point where I can’t even be shocked anymore. All I do is laugh man,” Hart said in an Instagram story video. “Even after writing a book, a very good book, about my life in great detail… still not enough?”
