Destiny Etiko Discloses How She First Got Into Nollywood
Popular Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has disclosed quite a number of things about herself which you probably never knew.
She featured on “Life With Yul Edochie” where she spoke about how she first got into Nollywood as a child, disclosed her role in the movie, Idemili among others. She also admitted that God singled her out amongst her peers and it had nothing to do with her acting or beauty.
According to Etiko, her mum used to act but her father (Destiny’s) stopped her because she and her siblings were still tender in age.
Mrs Etiko would go out early in the morning and return late which made her husband uncomfortable.
When the Drama Doll was in J.S.S. 1, (2003) her mother would take her along on set during mid-term. During one such visits, they required a child to act a scene and so they approached the young Destiny and asked permission from her mother.
She agreed as long as they paid her. That was how Destiny Etiko got her first ever role and into movies.
In fact, the thespian did about 3-4 movies with Aki and Paw Paw.
