16-Year-Old Aoki Lee Simmons Gets Accepted To Harvard University
Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons are obviously proud parents. Why? That’s because their 16-year-old daughter Aoki has been accepted to Harvard University and at such a tender age. Applause please!
Earlier this month, Aoki Lee Simmons had revealed on Instagram Live that she was the victim of racist attacks by a white male student. According to Aoki, horrible words were fired her way such as, “N***r, are you on crack or something?” Despite this, her school didn’t react enough as the student was not punished which of course, encouraged further harassment. She said while crying in the video:
“I’m so over people at my school being racist and no one doing anything about it.”
“I go to school to work. I don’t even talk to these people because I’m busy. I’m trying to go to Yale. I’m trying to go to Harvard. I don’t have time for you!”
Well, things have worked out for the teen and she’s on a pedestal. Aoki hit her Instagram page again but this time, with tears of joy having been accepted to Harvard University at 16. She wrote:
“I’m only 16 and I’m going to Harvard baby! Insert emotional crying face. @kimoraleesimmons “thank god you got in on your own honey cause you can’t row” thank you so much to every single person who helped me along the way. I am excited and honored and so so grateful.”
