Donna Jones: Arkansas Grandmother Stabbed 16 Times With Butcher Knife,Screwdriver
A 64-year-old grandmother identified as Donna Jones, was stabbed with a butcher knife while visiting her granddaughter in Lee County, Arkansas.
The woman who is recovering in Texas, had travelled to Lee County alongside her son, to see her granddaughter, off to prom.
According to Queen Jones, 17, her ex-con uncle was a threat being there and he already spoke on crazy things he had done and planned to do. She said:
“Telling me about crazy things he have done, crazy things he planned to do.”
On April 16, things got really scary for Queen Jones when she learnt those horrible plans involved her and her family. She said:
“He just goes into saying how he was gonna chop me up and burn me, throw me in the field, have me for barbecue ‘cause he was a dragon and he had to eat.”
Jones said her uncle who was sitting with her family in their living room on Highway 121, already had painting of teardrops on his face with black nail polish. He then snapped, got up and ran to the kitchen where he got a kitchen knife and began stabbing his mother. Donna Jones stated:
“When he started cutting me, I’m like, ‘Oh, hell no.”
Brandie Williams, Queen Jones’ mother said, “He started stabbing her in her face and her neck”.
Thankfully, Williams and her daughter managed to make it to her daughter’s bedroom. Eventually, Donna Jones joined them after the butcher knife broke. However, their safety was short-lived as Jones’ uncle broke down the door and began attacking her grandmother with two screwdrivers. It was during the attack that Williams and her daughter scrambled to the neighbour next door where they asked for help. Meanwhile, Donna Jones was trapped.
“I started kicking him in his private parts … fighting back,” she said.
She managed to escape and lock herself in another room until deputies arrived the scene and took the unnamed attacker to jail.
