It is not easy becoming a movie star and to succeed, you have to prepare yourself in so many ways including both good and bad publicity. Sometimes while on set, you will end up having a laugh at yourself while trying to get your lines right or even trying to perfect a certain role which might be challenging.
Mind you, acting is to be taken seriously although in a relaxed manner as well. If you recall, Ini Edo once stated the commitment acting takes. She wrote in part;
“People think acting is all games and fun…it takes a high level of commitment,discipline and patience to get the job done…From very early morning call times to late night and sometimes filming into the early hours of the morning…”
Despite this, Uche Jombo also insists that it shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Taking to Twitter, she wrote:
“As an Actor always be prepared to laugh at your self. It’s a serious job but don’t take it too seriously …..”
