While growing up, a lot of us played different games during the Inter-house sport competition.
Personally, I have always found myself in any House that is blue. In fact, even the football club that I support wear blue jersey.
It was always fun during the games as I partook in a couple of competitions apart from “Sack Race” and “Banana Eating”.
The purpose of the Inter-house Sport competition is to help develop a child’s mental health and physical fitness. This would then help develop the children’s self-esteem at an early age, give them the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and ability to work as a team.
In a recent Instagram post, Adunni Ade shared photos showing her in attendance at her sons D’marion and Ayden Young’s 25th Inter-house sport competition.
The actress was clearly excited as she recalled her own participation decades ago. The popular actress disclosed that she was in Yellow House just like one of her sons, Ayden. Her other boy D’marion is in “Red House”.
Despite the differences in Houses, Adunni Ade made it clear which she will partially want the color of House she was in as a youngster to win.
She wrote;
“All for my babies. 25th Inter-house sport competition . Peep Prince Ayden
So decades ago, I was in Yellow House just like @ayden , will I be partial to wanting them to win?? We always won during my times Red House which Marion @dmanyoung belongs is to beat YELLOW FOR LIFE”
Several Nollywood celebs hit the comment section with Nancy Isime referring to her colleague as the “Best mum” while Moyo Lawal reacted, “Lol I was in yellow house tooo … go yellow”.
