Beyonce, 35, featured at the 50th Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night and she looked absolutely stunning in a heavily embellished, sheer, floor-length gown.
The singer rocked the stage alingside The Dixie Chicks while performing her single, Daddy Lessons from her critically acclaimed album Lemonade for the 50th anniversary of the awards held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Tennessee. Beyonce teamed her stunning gown with numerous pearl necklaces, which drew even more attention to her chest and pair of towering silver sandals.
Sadly, some viewers were not impressed with Beyonce being at the awards with some questioning if the singer knew her audience.
“#CMAawards50 #Beyonce Are you kidding me? Do you know your audience? #abc I am out.”
While another added: “What was #CMAawards50 thinking with #Beyonce? She is against everything the country music community stands for.”
“@CountryMusic How do you RUIN the CMA’s? Put #Beyonce on the show!!!!” a third added.
Another continued: “Can’t believe the #CMAawards50 let #Beyonce perform after celebrating classic country legends. What a disgrace.”
A fifth asked: “When did #Beyonce become a country music singer? #shesnot #CMAawards50 #pleasedont #CMAs #keepitcountry.”
Truthfully, at the end of the day, you just can’t impress everyone. Beyonce stole the show as usual and it’s a bit hard for some to swallow.
