Celebrity News And Gossip: Brittney Taylor Arrested For Role In NYC High Rise Brawl
Love & Hip Hop star Brittney Taylor was arrested early on Friday morning after New York City police showed up to the high rise where she lives. The cops were acting in response to a massive brawl taking place on multiple floors of the building.
According to TMZ, Taylor was in her midtown NYC high rise apartment when another woman at her place early Friday morning began to argue with her. Things got heated and then physical with Brittney allegedly scratching the woman so badly she left marks on the alleged victim’s skin. The woman eventually fled into an elevator to leave the scene. However, that didn’t stop the furious Taylor as she went after her using another elevator and met the woman down in the lobby As she closed in on the other woman, she threw her cell phone at her reportedly hitting the woman in the forehead with it.
Eventually, Brittney went back up to her apartment and not long after, the police showed up and arrested her on charges of assault and aggravated harassment. Both charges are misdemeanors so things could actually have been worse for Brittney. Despite this, she still languished in jail for a couple of hours after her arrest. Brittney was eventually released on her own recognizance without bail on Friday.
According to Taylor’s attorney, Sanford Rubenstein, the reality TV star will re-appear in a New York courtroom next month to face up to the charges and continue her route through the criminal justice system.
If you recall, several months ago, Remy Ma is currently facing the exact same charges as Taylor after she allegedly punched Brittney in April during a concert.
