Latest News USA Today: Bronx Attacker Punches And Kicks 67-Year-Old Man In Elevator
A 67-year-old man was treated at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center after he was punched and kicked in an unprovoked attack in a Belmont, the Bronx elevator. The NYPD say the victim was inside of a residential building near Southern Boulevard and East 187th Street on Friday when a man attacked and beat him up.
According to officials, the man suffered lacerations to the face. It’s gathered that the suspect fled the scene inside of a dark colored minivan eastbound on East 187th Street.
Meanwhile, the suspect has been described as having a beard and was last seen wearing a black du-rag, a gray hooded sweater, blue jeans and black fur-lined boots. He also had a black bag slung across his chest.
