A babysitter identified as Caleb Collins of Colorado has done the unthinkable as he allegedly threw a 7-month-old boy after he “crawled toward his PlayStation and pulled one of the cables.” The evil-doer now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. Infact, only in July, Collins was hit with these charges. 9News reports that it obtained unsealed documents revealing the child will “likely never see, hear or have purposeful movement.”
The arrest affidavit says Collins called 911 on June 30 and claimed the baby “fell from his arms and was not conscious or responsive.”
However, after an investigation, it was discovered that the injuries sustained by the boy were “the result of forceful handling, not an accidental drop”.
Collins has pleaded not guilty on all charges brought against him. However, if found guilty, he could face up to 90 years in prison.
