Nollywood Star Chika Ike Shares Emotional Story Of When She Couldn’t Afford Luxuries
Chika Ike is currently on holiday living life to the fullest. However, things were not always so rosy for the Nollywood actress. In an Instagram post, she took a trip down memory lane recalling when she couldn’t afford the luxuries she enjoys today.
According to Chika Ike, she used to squat with people because she couldn’t pay her rent. The actress also brought back memories of when people used to give her lifts in their cars. She wrote:
I can remember when I couldn’t afford all these luxuries. My life now was a dream too far to reach years ago. Couldn’t afford to pay my rent , squatted in a friends room in school , friends were constantly giving me lifts in their cars because I had to save as much as I could. It’s amazing how ones life can change and what used to be a far dream or my life goal is my reality and truth . I am Living my dream. The truth is your life can change in a heartbeat , it’s not rocket science, things that used to be out of your reach , you’ll own and gift to other people . No one has monopoly to success. We can all be successful if we believe, work hard , never give up and focus on your dreams …. Don’t give up! Yes you can ! #bossup
