Daniel Oyebanjo III: D’Banj Shows Gratitude For Support From Fans After Death Of His Son
D’Banj took to his Instagram page minutes ago, to thank his fans and all those who have supported him one way or the other after the tragic death of his son, Daniel Oyebanjo III.
The singer had confirmed the death of little Daniel after the boy drowned at his Ikoyi residence in an IG post when he used a black image post with the caption, “Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”
According to a source close to the the singer’s family, Daniel was playing with some friends of the family at their Ikoyi residence that Sunday evening when he wandered off and fell into the swimming pool. It’s understood his mother, Lineo Didi Kilgrow, left the little boy with some grown up children in the house. The child was eventually rushed to the hospital where he was certified dead.
D’Banj was in Los Angeles, California for the 2018 BET Awards when his son died.
