Celebrity News And Gossip: Dionne Warwick Reacts To Whitney Houston Hologram Tour
A Whitney Houston hologram tour is being proposed and it’s drawing mixed reactions. Her cousin Dionne Warwick, has reacted to this and she’s “clueless” as to why anyone would want to embark on such a “stupid” project. The 78-year-old legendary singer told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday:
“I haven’t a clue as to what that is. It’s surprising to me.”
“I don’t know what it is. I think it’s stupid, but whatever it is that’s what it is.”
Houston’s estate had revealed on Monday that there are plans for an album of unreleased material by the late singer, as well a proposed tour featuring her image, brought to life in hologram.
While speaking with the New York Times, Whitney’s cousin, Pat Houston, who also is the estate executor, disclosed that a musical featuring the singer’s music, has also been proposed. She admitted that she’d previously turned down all such offers since Whitney’s death in 2012 at the age of 48. She said:
“Everything is about timing for me.”
“It’s been quite emotional for the past seven years. But now it’s about being strategic.”
