Christabel Egbenya has taken to her Instagram page to advise her fans not to exhaust themselves trying to please people who only love them when it benefits them.
The popular Nollywood actress noted the importance of prioritizing one’s own needs and being mindful of investing in mutually supportive relationships.
Clearly, Christabel Egbenya is trying to encourage people to embrace self-care and setting healthy boundaries between themselves and others so as not to be taken advantage of by selfish people.
She wrote;
“Don’t drain yourself trying to satisfy people who only love when it benefits them”.
From the thespian’s post, it is clear that the most valuable relationships are those where both parties benefit and support each other, rather than ones where one person constantly sacrifices for the other.
