A woman identified as Melanie Liverpool-Turner, 30, of Queens, has been charged with murder after she pushed another woman in front of a moving subway train in New York. It’s understood that the suspect was seen earlier arguing with Connie Watton, 49, at the stop under Times Square.
According to reports, the two women did not know one another. People who witnessed the incident described how Liverpool-Turner looked ‘proud’ as she was led away by police officers. It’s understood that the suspect even told authorities that she did the same thing at Union Square station last month. However, officers do not believe her account as a German student who died there around that time is thought to have taken her own life.
Olief Wilson, who is the boyfriend to Liverpool-Turner, said that she was on her way going shopping in Brooklyn when the incident happened.
