Things are really happening ooh! Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik Obama posted an image of ex-president’s ‘Kenyan birth certificate’ claiming Barack lied he was born in US.
He claimed Barack Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya. Malik even tweeted a copy of the birth certificate which he claimed is valid. The ‘birth certificate’ bears the letterhead of the ‘Coast Province General Hospital’ in Mombasa. Only in 2009, a man identified as Lucas Smith put the document up for sale on eBay. The date of the birth certificate of the male baby is listed as August 4, 1961 (That is Barack Obama’s actual birth date). The ‘document’ also lists the names of Obama’s parents, Barack Hussein Obama and Stanley Ann Obama (née Dunham).
According to the US Constitution, citizens who were born abroad CANNOT attain the presidency. Part of the belly ache Malik Obama has for his half-brother Barack is that he feels the former US president didn’t do enough to help his Kenyan relatives. He said:
‘I’m very proud of my brother, but I would like for him to do a little bit more for the family on this side. I would like to say he could send some money. I give money when asked. That’s what family is for. We’re not well off, though people think we are.’
Also, he may be aggrieved that Barack Obama didn’t assist him during his own foray into politics when he unsuccessfully ran for governor of the southwestern Kenyan county of Siaya in 2013. He told The Post: ‘I don’t think politics is my thing’.
‘Honestly, I’ll be happy when my brother is out of office, and I will finally be out of the limelight and be able to live like a human being.’
