Shocking: Ghanaian Man Samuel Amoah Has Set His House Ablaze Then Poisoned Himself After A Quarrel With His Wife
A Ghanaian man identified as Samuel Amoah has set his house ablaze then poisoned himself after a quarrel with his wife.
According to Olivia Adieu, Assistant Superintendent of Police, (ASP) Western Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) who confirmed the incident to the Ghana News Agency, the suspect allegedly took poison to end his life after the act. It’s understood that the wife returned home late after attending a funeral which led to a misunderstanding between the couple.
Samuel Amoah, 60, is also reported to have issued death threats to his wife and the children. It’s gathered that at about 10:30 p.m. on the same day while the woman and her children were asleep, she woke up after hearing noises from the town folks. It was then that she noticed one of the rooms where she had kept her personal belonging and that of the children, was in flames.
ASP Olivia Adieu also disclosed that upon report of the matter to the police station, the police went to the scene only to discover that the suspect was unconscious. He was then rushed to the Dixcove Government Hospital where he is receiving treatment.
