Ghanaian Singer Efya Says She Did Not Have Sex With Wizkid
In may 2016, after Wizkid had performed at the Ghana Music Awards, he announced that he had signed Efya alongside Mr Eazi and R2Bees to his Starboy Worldwide Entertainment. Then, photos that appear to drive thoughts in a sexual manner of Wizkid and Efya, surfaced online prompting early gossip of a sexual relationship. However, in an interview with Deloris Frimpong-Manso popularly known as Delay, Ghanaian musician Efya said she did not have sex with Wizkid. She claimed the Nigerian singer dated her step-sister and as such, “there is no way me and him can ever get sexual”.
“It’s definitely not sex… [he dated my younger sister]…so there is no way. Me and him can ever get sexual in that way.”
According to the award-winning musician, Wizkid is like a younger brother to her and they can only make good music together.
