It’s no longer news that former beauty queen, Ibidun Ighodalo, died June 14 at the age of 39. It’s understood she suffered a heart attack in the early morning in a hotel in Port Harcourt where she went to assist with a project to build isolation centers for COVID-19 patients. Her death came as a shock to friends and family. In fact, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, paid a condolence visit to her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, of Trinity House Church over the death of the event planner.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu shared photos on his Instagram page. He wrote;
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain: for the former things have passed away”. Revelation 21:4
“There are no words strong enough to comfort someone on the death of their loved one. But we would continue to commit them unto the hands of God who is the ultimate healer and comforter.
“I paid a condolence visit to my dear friend, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo to commiserate with him on the passing of his dear wife, late Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo.
“My prayer is that Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo rests in peace, and that God continues to abide with Pastor Ituah and their loved ones. Amen.”
