Olu Jacobs Remains One Of The Greatest Actors Africa Has Produced – Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie has taken to his Instagram page to pay tribute to “one of the greatest actors Africa has produced” Olu Jacobs for the impact he has had in his career.
According to Edochie, he spent a lot of time studying Olu Jacobs acting style when he first got into Nollywood. He also disclosed that he learnt a lot from taking roles as his son.

The Legend, the great Uncle Olu Jacobs.
Today is not his birthday but I choose to celebrate him for his impact in my career.
In the early days of my career I spent a lot of time studying his acting style.
It was always an honour to be on set with him.
I played his son a couple of times and I learnt so much from him.
So accommodating, so nice.
He remains one of the greatest actors Africa has produced.
I miss working with him.
Thank you Uncle Olu Jacobs.

On Father’s Day, his wife, Joke Silva celebrated him. She wrote;
“Father of my children, I celebrate you. Oludotun Jacobs (MFR), you were a wonderful present father when they were kids, you ARE a wealth of wisdom now that they are young men. God bless you and continue to honor you. Happy Father’s Day luv”.
