Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has disclosed on Twitter that he couldn’t sleep because of all the recent happenings going on in the country. He wrote:

The rate of lawlessness by people supposed to be protecting our interests is shocking because it now leads to murder.
Recently, Uwa Omozuwa, 22, a 100-level Microbiology student of the University of Benin, was murdered after she was beaten, r*ped and hit with a fire extinguisher. She had gone to The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Edo Province 10, Ikpoba Hill, Benin, to read. Also, Tina Ezekwe, a 16-year old girl, at Iyana-Oworo area of Lagos, was shot by the police which led to her death.
While crime and lawlessness takes over in Nigeria, the people are faced with the coronavirus pandemic. So far, as at 31st May, 2020, there are 10162 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country although 3007 have been discharged. However, 287 deaths have been recorded, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
