Singer Simi Warns People Addressing Her As ‘Ma’, Nigerian Philosopher Says She’s Timid
Nigerian singer, Simi, has taken to her Twitter page to ask her fans to stop using words like ‘ma’ or ‘dear’ while addressing her.
I don’t know what to do about people that call me “dear” or “ma”. Let it end pls.

Simi has a no-nonsense approach when it comes to blocking followers who constitute a nuisance of themselves while on her page. With that in mind, her followers jokingly started to apologize but still continued to use the words she asked them not to use.

However, a certain man identified as Taiwo Tolulope Oladiran, who claims to be a philosopher, stated that Simi should clearly define what she means by people should stop using ‘dear’ or ‘ma’ while referring to her. The man added that people could mistake Simi’s humility for arrogance.
