Ini Edo has so much belief that if a woman receives proper training, then the nation will enjoy its benefits as they have the “inherent capacity to build and nurture systems”.
It is no longer news that the popular Nollywood actress wants her foundation, Girls Empowerment and Mentorship Scheme (GEMS) to play a role in helping women achieve their full potentials.
She wrote;

“I firmly believe that if you train a woman, you train a nation and if you equip a woman, you equip a family. Women have the inherent capacity to build and nurture systems; if we wish to see Africa empowered through innovation and entrepreneurship, then we must all join hands to ensure that half of our population is sufficiently equipped to drive economic policies and reforms .
