Chioma Akpotha has disclosed that she has panic attacks and sleepless nights because of the horrors of the night of Tuesday, 20th of October. Uniformed men with the responsibility to protect lives and property, have been accused of carrying out an “order” to shoot #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate despite the youths being peaceful.
It was the first time many Nigerians saw the Nigeria flag covered in the blood of the innocent. While reacting seven days after the “massacre,” Chioma Akpotha wrote:
“Hope for a better TOMORROW !
Words still fail me but all I can say is let us keep Hope alive.
I’ve had bouts of panic attacks and sleepless nights in the past few days. Hardly even coordinated. How much more those who were affected directly by the happenings of Tuesday the 20th of October
My heart goes out to everyone who’s lost someone. Words cannot express the kind of pain you feel BUT God will give you the strength you need at this time. My prayers are with you !
To everyone who lost their property and livelihood to looters, I say May our God who causes our farmland to flourish also bless you with bountiful harvest ! Always for more , Never for less !
