Rita Edochie celebrated her birthday yesterday, April 16th. Sadly, her niece, Martha Nwosisi was laid to rest on the same day so it was not a good time for the veteran Nollywood actress to mark her special day in a big way. She wrote in an Instagram post:
“MY NIECE MARTHA NWOSISI WILL BE LAID TO REST TODAY.
TODAY 16TH APRIL IS MY BIRTHDAY BUT CAN NOT CELEBRATE IT.
REST ON MARTHA FOR GOD ALMIGHTY KNOWS THE BEST”.
Despite Edochie being in mourning, her colleagues, friends and fans celebrated her birthday massively on social media. This came as a shock to the actress who thought all the while she had a lot of haters.
Moments ago, the thespian expressed her joy after all the love she got. She wrote;
“Chaaaaaiiiii i never knew i was so so LOVED like this.
You GUYS CELEBRATED me like never before.
I thought i had a lot of HATERS but i been PROVEN WRONG.
May GOD Almighty give you ALL your HEART DESIRES.
