Nollywood has made a lot of progress in the development of the industry into becoming the biggest in Africa.
There are so many actors doing big things and offering genuine quality as compared to what it used to be back then. Those days, if any movie didn’t have the big names like Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Oge Okoye and a couple of others, it will not be rated highly by the fans.
These days, you have Destiny Etiko, Uju Okoli, Queeneth Hilbert, LizzyGold Onuwaje, Georgina Onuoha, Chizzy Alichi holding their own and taking the Nigeria film industry to greater heights.
In a new Instagram post, Kanayo O. Kanayo one of the living legends in Nollywood, shared a video of himself eating alongside Regina Daniels and Ola Daniels. He recalled his early days in Nigerian Television Authority Nigeria (NTA) when an actor could easily lose his artist fee if he made the mistake of eating the props meat on display.
According to K.O.K., the food was usually “borrowed” from a nearby restaurant. He captioned:
“You may not be able to appreciate what we went through for your viewing pleasure. E don tey @regina.daniels @oladaniels_”
