Clapback: Timaya Shades Shatta Wale, Asks If He Is A Shoemaker Or A Plumber
You already know all the drama the Ghanaian dancehall king brought when he implied Nigerian singer Wizkid, isn’t a star. This generated into a social media war between fans of both stars and Shatta Wale himself. Rather than cool things down, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. chose to drag Timaya into the whole ‘beef’. He had fired, “It’s a shame you have an artiste like Timaya, he should have still sold his plantain chips.. Mumu.” Well, in response to a fan who wanted to know if he would record a diss song for the Ghanaian musician, Timaya shades Shatta Wale claiming he didn’t know who he was. He then quizzed if he was a shoemaker or a plumber and that all he knew of him, was what he read on the internet.
He said in a video:
“Make a diss track for Shatta Wale… Please this Shatta Wale who is this Shatta Wale, I dont know him until, I just dey hear for internet Shatta Wale.. I dont know that guy. Does he sing? Is he a shoemaker or is he a plumber?… I dont know him”.
