Georgina Onuoha has disclosed via an Instagram post that she always has to give extra to be able to attain anything in life. The popular Nollywood actress also noted that she has been working dearly since she was nine to be able to get to where she is today and live the life she has been blessed with.
The movie star also warned those who slide into her DM to question the source through which she is able to pay her bills. While responding to this, Onuoha stated clearly that she has paid her dues and put in years of academic study. She also let her haters know that she has a Curriculum Vitae to show for it having invested in advanced degrees.
Georgina Onuoha also advised Nigerian women living in Europe not to depend on getting married to wealth men but rather, further their education.
She wrote;
“I love the woman I became
I’ve always had to give extra to attain anything.
I am not one of those lucky “ones” no, I’ve had to till the earth as my name “ Georgina” implies.
I’ve come so far through grace.
I’ve always been the underdog in all aspects of life.
Life would have been easy to use all I have to get all I want after all I am fearfully and wonderfully endowed, instead, I choose to work hard and thrive with hard labor.
So before you slide into my Dm asking stupid questions about who is paying my bills, let me remind you I am a self-made woman.
I have paid my dues, put in the hard work hours, and run my business.
I have put in years of academic study and invested in advanced degrees with a Curriculum Vitae to show for it.
The life you see my life today, I have worked dearly for since the age of 9. Yes, I sold ice-water, Limca, Ugu, and everything edible under the sun on the streets of Lagos to become the woman you see today.
So please don’t patronize me by asking who Is bankrolling me.
No, I don’t need a man to bankroll me. I bring so much to the table in my relationship.
I’m a giver and not a taker. I add value and multiple.
I’m not here to show you fancy cars or fake life.
What you see is what you get.
So please don’t send me such silly messages, and NO, I don’t have anyone to hook you up with. The last time I checked, matchmaking is not my forte.
Please, dear Nigerian women living in Europe, it is not enough to marry a wealthy man and sit at home. Most of you have degrees back home, further your education, and better yourself in case of any eventuality.
Education is free in Europe compared to America, where we are drowning in student debt/loans to reach for the skies.
America forces you to be resourceful. No free nothing here. So please take advantage of the opportunities you have in Europe.
Be warned 😡.”
